Images In Glass

Ultimo Camera Markets were on today, and i couldnt find anything associated with my poor lonely Diana. Instead, i would like to introduce to you my newest fascination: only problem is i don't know what they're called. They are prints put in glass, and i know sweet diddly-squat about them, and i cant very well search them on google because I don't know what they're called! There is a famous actress called Fanny, a man standing idly before the bayonets of what appears to be the Scottish army (they're wearing kilts, methinks), then theres a man using his horse as a trench (looks to be!), there are also cotton pickers and then there is Transvaal in war. The scan doesn't do them justice, when they are backlit it's quite lovely. Click to enlarge, i say.
