Do you like the picture? It's an x-ray! Sort of. I used x-ray film and cast a flash upon an image i had coloured in using Sharpie pen. The image is made up of two pieces of art, both by Riceboy Sleeps - a project by Alex Somers and Jonsi Birgisson. I put them together, so it is now a drummer boy playing to a flock of birds. Because i work at a Chiropractor i went into the darkroom and developed it in the midnight hour, with my ginger friend Matt in tow. (Dont tell my boss.) Then i held it up to the light the next day and took a photo!!
I actually made this almost a year ago, but i only just figured out how to upload phone photos, and i really hope you enjoy it. The hope is that I improve on the process, and create some images of my own - obviously using the principles of stencilling. I have a wonderful feeling that this is an original idea (so please dont tell me otherwise).
