My mum's boyfriend was working on a building site when he found some old newspaper articles, preserved under the lino. They are very well preserved, and some date to the 1940's and 1920's - so they are pretty much gems, good collectors items. He gave them to me, which is legendary of him - and he suggested that when i re-vamp the rocking chair i found in council cleanup that i could use the vintage comics in the decoration. Awesomesauce. Below i have uploaded the cover of the short story by Ursula Parrott that came in the Sunday Telegraph, February 8 1942. The next images are comics from that same publication on different dates.
